ubuntu:

distrib_id=ubuntu distrib_release=16.04 distrib_codename=xenial distrib_description="ubuntu 16.04.1 lts"

have tried changing repository 'main server'?

you can change opening 'software & updates' , selecting different mirror.

from time time local repository mirrors go down idea check other ones ;)

i have noticed trying connect via ipv6 router or isp may not support. have tried this?
