power management - Unable to Change Critical Battery Action through dconf editor : Ubuntu 16.04 - Ask Ubuntu

i have ubuntu gnome 16.04 upgraded 14.04. want shut down machine when battery reaches critical level. configured through dconf editor , working fine until upgrade.

now after upgrade, no matter whatever set in dconf-editor, system still going suspend mode on low battery.

this settingspower settings

i have noticed when executing upower --dump , getting following @ end.

daemon: daemon-version: 0.99.4 on-battery: no lid-is-closed: no lid-is-present: yes critical-action: hybridsleep

here, critical-action shown different. how should fix issue?

same problem here!

i'm not familiar topic, tooking upower's configuration files found critical-action setup in /etc/upower/upower.conf

there can change corresponding key criticalpoweraction=poweroff , should work.

you may want check through other keys set in upower.conf file. in case instance not synchronized dconf: no idea why!
