system installation - Cannot install Ubuntu or another Linux OS! - Ask Ubuntu


hello got new gaming computer without os tried install xubuntu!

it failed error message: "couldn't execute gnu grub install @ /dev/sdf fatal error!"

my uncle said must install disk tried install "normal" ubuntu 16.04 lts disk... gave me same error message except of file path

... gnu grub install @ /dev/sda ...

i got 1 hard drive 1 terabyte space why file path different got 1 hard drive... while booting live cd got instantly before loading bar appears error messages 

couldn't mount /dev/sda no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sdb no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sdc no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sdd no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sde no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sdf no medium found couldn't mount /dev/sdg no medium found

i don't know how install ubuntu without clue why can't execute gnu grub install.

and i'm wondering why shows @ xubuntu different file path in ubuntu got 1 hard drive.

edit: finished installation without errors cause found out how avoid error when computer boots error message unknown filesystem , boots grub rescue

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
