Ubuntu 16 dual-boot Boot install error - Ask Ubuntu


i trying install ubuntu-16 along side windows 10 on hp-probook. every time try install, following grub error present error. made bootable usb using rufus,opted gpt partition.

i installed keeping wifi on, has been mentioned @ many other places,but still didn't work out. days ago, used following error error comes in boot loadingearlier error. have set fast boot , secure boot off.

i tried running boot repair in ubuntu once , messed windows 10 booting also.when install ubuntu 15, similar boot error, error message isn't same,though.

your problem caused windows feature known fast startup. see here information on how shut off. may need disable hibernate, described here. these features cause filesystems open in windows left in inconsistent state in other oses, highly dangerous. in specific case, efi system partition (esp) shared between oses, , left in state in cannot written ubuntu, producing error.

after disable fast startup , hibernate, should reboot once or twice. have several options recovery. 3 simplest probably:

  • run boot repair utility. should install grub, step that's failed, , should go.
  • download usb flash drive or cd-r version of refind boot manager, prepare boot medium it, , boot it. can install refind via debian package or ppa, , system should work. note, however, if secure boot active, you'll need either jump through hoops or disable approach work.
  • re-install ubuntu, being careful delete or overwrite existing ubuntu installation. (automatic settings might result in duplicate installation, don't want.)

note need one of these 3 things. (of course, if try 1 , fails, can try one.)

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
