16.04 - No "><|" key on keyboard - remap other key? - Ask Ubuntu

i've got older thinkpad has no "<>|" key (which supposed to right of left shift key). makes terminal work hard.

is there way map example z key in way, if press "alt-gr z" |? same < , >?

i'm running ubuntu 16.04.

found answer myself: using tool xmodmap able remap alt-gr+y <, alt-gr+x > , alt-gr+c |.
