Unable to solve login loop problem after installing nvidia driver via run file - Ask Ubuntu


i know likes of question have been asked many times, couldn't find answer work me, i'm asking new one!

as title suggests encounter login loop after installing nvidia driver via run file. must reasons i cannot use apt-get install nvidia-... please don't suggest this.

the problem started after update , reboot, greeted black screen. have had experienced before tried reinstall driver no use.

i tried steps suggested in https://askubuntu.com/a/423619 , didn't solve (only in login page became big!). tried 3 different drivers (352.99, previous 1 before catastrophe, 361.77, 367.57). have tried steps suggested in https://vxlabs.com/2015/02/05/solving-the-ubuntu-14-04-nvidia-346-nvidia-prime-black-screen-issue/ has worked on other laptop before, again no use.

i added line: grub_cmdline_linux_default="quiet splash nouveau.blacklist=1" /etc/default/grub , ran sudo update-grub, still no use.

the thing need nvidia driver work , can't replace other choices, don't want reinstall ubuntu because have reinstall many things had in it. i'm using hp laptop 850m gpu on , ubuntu 14.04.3.

i've been searching 2 days trying nothing works! in advance help.

i appreciate hints how avoid such problem in future, meaning have nvidia driver, update system , yet don't stuck things login loop, black screen etc.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
