windows 8 - Keep "toast" notifications up until I close them? - Super User


i want toast notifications stay until i:

  • hover on toast
  • click on (it closes after this)
  • click x (also, closes after this)

basically, keep open until interact it.

for of didn't know (i didn't know "toast" until told me), toast this:

toast notifications not designed stay on screen time don't use them display important data:

don't use toast notifications notify user of must seen, such critical alert. ensure user has seen message, notify them in context of app flyout, dialog, app bar, or other inline element.

you can increase display time in modern pc settings tool
