weird character appeaaring when connecting another server over ssh on ubuntu 16.04 LTS - Ask Ubuntu


the following string appears in terminal:

]133;c;]133;d;0]1337;remotehost=root@ubuntu.letbox.com]1337;currentdir=/root]133;aroot@ubuntu:~# ]133;b 

it seems tell me current directories along weired characters ]1337 . idea how solve this? thanks.

this caused setting iterm2 shell integration per http://www.iterm2.com/documentation-shell-integration.html.

check see if .iterm2_shell_integration.bash being sourced .bash_profile. happened me logging ubuntu server, fixed removing ~/.iterm2_shell_integration.bash.
